Upstate Alliance SC

Formed in 2000, the Upstate South Carolina Alliance is a public/private regional economic development organization designed to market and promote the dynamic, commerce-rich, northwestern corner of South Carolina.

As the Upstate SC Alliance works to attract new business investment to Upstate South Carolina, Pozyx has helped share the region’s value as an international business destination with its global network. Beyond technology trailblazers like Pozyx, Belgian companies have thrived in the Upstate for decades.

Their success is supported by a strong workforce, a collaborative, business-friendly environment, and a team of supporters in the region. The Consulate General of Belgium in Atlanta, Flanders Investment & Trade, and European American Chamber of Commerce-Carolinas are all resources with deep connections in the Upstate. And, Upstate Alliance team member Aimee Redick serves on the Board of the Belgian Amercian Chamber of the South (BACoS) supporting the growth of business between Belgium and the Southeast.

While Yves Ghys lends his talents to telling the story of the warm welcome he received in the Upstate, the Upstate Alliance will continue to provide visibility and connections across its South Carolina network of public and private contacts.
