Gartner, the world’s leading information technology research and advisory firm, has included Pozyx as a niche player in the 2021 Magic Quadrant for Indoor Location Services.

The annual Gartner report for Indoor Location Services presents an analysis and assessment of “vendors based on their capability to meet multiple end-user, indoor location opportunities and their ability to address new use scenarios.” For the 2021 Magic Quadrant, Pozyx was positioned as a niche player.

With UWB technology Pozyx is serving the niche of sub-meter accurate indoor location services, a niche that Pozyx believes has the potential to become mainstream once people and organizations come to grasp the full potential of accurate localization and what it can mean for a business.

Samuel Van de Velde, Pozyx CEO says: “This marks the first time Gartner has selected Pozyx for the Magic Quadrant for Indoor Location Services and we couldn’t be happier with the inclusion. Being positioned as a niche player recognizes the significant efforts we have made in designing and  developing accurate and robust RTLS solutions powered by UWB.”

Yves Ghys, Pozyx CCO adds: “The timing of our inclusion in the Gartner Magic Quadrant is perfect since our U.S. expansion is now fully underway after opening a dedicated office in Greenville, South Carolina. Being positioned as a niche player by Gartner sends a clear signal to the market about our capabilities in a fast-moving and innovative space.”
